Cookie Notice

There is one cookie. It keeps you signed in. There is no banner asking you to accept anything, because there is nothing to accept.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent banners exist because sites set cookies people would refuse if asked. A strictly necessary cookie, one without which you could not stay signed in, does not require consent under the UK/EU ePrivacy rules, and we do not set any other kind.

No analytics cookie. No advertising cookie. No third-party cookie. No pixel, session recorder or heatmap. Nothing that exists to follow you, here or anywhere else.

If that ever changes, it will change here first, with a real choice attached. There will never be a pre-ticked box.

Local storage

The application may keep small interface preferences in your browser's local storage, such as which tab you had open or whether a section was collapsed. That data stays in your browser, is not a cookie, is not sent to us, and clearing your site data removes it with no consequence beyond forgetting your last view.

Fonts, our one third-party request

Our pages currently load typefaces from Google Fonts. No cookie is set by this, but the request itself discloses your IP address and user-agent to Google in order to fetch the files. It belongs on this page because it is the only third-party request the site makes, and you should hear about it from us before your network tab tells you.

We intend to self-host these files, which removes the request entirely.

Controlling cookies

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking purceivo_sid will prevent you from signing in, since the server would have no way to recognise your session. The marketing pages and these policy documents read perfectly well with cookies blocked.
